Bored? Want an excuse procrastinate on homework for a few minutes? Look no further-- I’ve found ten Buzzfeed quizzes just for these times. Don’t worry, I wasted my own time taking these, so I hopefully they’ll be worth your while. Feel free to share these with friends who may be under stress and looking for a distraction/relaxation tool.

1. “Can You Pass This 11th grade AP U.S. History Test?”

If you’re good with history facts or in an academic mood, this will probably make you feel a lot better about yourself after a hard day. (Unfortunately, I’m not, so warning if you are not very up-to-date with U.S. history). Still, history savvy or not, it’s pretty entertaining to check your knowledge and see how much you actually know. To me this is a Buzzfeed version of the show “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?”

2. “Give Us Your Coffee Order and We’ll Guess What Time You Wake Up”

This one is just a fun way to kill three minutes, especially if you’re a fan of coffee. Sadly, the results weren’t the most accurate for me but maybe they will be for you!

3. “Build A Salad And We’ll Guess Your Exact Height and Weight”

Another one of those pointless guessing quizzes, but still irresistible nonetheless. Hungry? This might help gear your cravings to something other than pizza or ice cream or something else that isn’t really good for you (unlikely but worth a try). Apparently I’m 16 and 5’8”. I’m not, but now I feel like it’s my destiny to grow a couple more inches.Photo credit:

4. “This Word Test Will Reveal If You’re More Tough or Sensitive”

This one is more fun if you pick the first word that comes to your mind, your “gut reaction” word rather than the one you think will make you more tough or sensitive.

5. “Can You Spot The Dogs In These Pictures?”

If you’re feeling attentive and want to test your skills this one is actually kind of challenging, at least it was for me. Tip: even if you don’t see a dog after a minute of searching, it’s probably best if you keep looking.

6. “Which Jonas Brother Are You?”

This one is older so you may have already taken it; it’s an “oldie but a goodie” as they say. How can you resist finding out which Jonas Brother you are? Jonas Brothers and Disney Channel in general was an integral staple in many of our childhoods.

7. “Where Will You Be In Five Years Based On The Letters Of Your Name?”

Feeling confused/lost about your future? This helpful quiz might guide you in the right direction. The results are pretty simplistic, yet it could be useful when you’re thinking about what you want to do with your life post-college or even just in general.

8. “The First Shape Your Eyes Go To Means More Than You Think”

This one is just plain neat. If you do it the way the instructions tell you to (don’t worry, they’re really simple), it might reveal something about yourself or your unconscious that you didn’t know before.

Happy quiz-taking!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
