Out of the 331 discovered dinosaurs, our society only knows those that have been made known by a popular series of movies titled "Jurassic Park" and "Jurassic World." In 2018, another addition to the series will return. You better believe I'm happy.
But because you only know of the T-Rex, stegosaurus, triceratops, and the brontosaurus, here's a look at ten other dinosaurs the new Jurassic World should include. Why? Because these dinosaurs are interesting. Also, you should keep reading because I looked at 331 dinosaurs.
1. Alvarezsaurus
Reason of interest: Look at that tail, which was estimated to be over 1/2 of its body length (so roughly a 3 feet long tail). This carnivore's speed and appearance should make a cameo in the new film.
2. Bambiraptor
Reason of interest: Not only is this raptor called the bambi raptor, but also it looks terrifying and murderous.3. Carnotaurus
Reason of interest: This dinosaur is literally a "carnivorous bull." It's about 25 feet in length and looks like a T-Rex on steroids. If this dinosaur makes an appearance, I'll be utterly satisfied. Also, look at how tiny his arms are.
4. Chirostenotes
Reason of interest: This dinosaur is terrifying. It looks like one of the villains in Scooby Doo. And though it resembles a chicken, creating this omnivorous dinosaur would bring a whole new level of scary.
5. Irritator
Reason of interest: Its name is the Irritator, its about 20 feet long, and it eats meat. Though it looks like the Spinosaurus which appeared in Jurassic Park III, I want someone to scream that, "The Irritator's coming!!!"
6. Isisaurus
Reason of interest: Though he's an herbivore, it's frequently compared to giraffes, which makes this somewhat strange-looking dinosaur seem like he deserves a spot in the upcoming movie.
7. Nomingia
Reason of interest: It's the dinosaur equivalent of a peacock, an omnivorous peacock that may attempt to eat you, but still could be pretty.
8. Rebbachisaurus
Reason of interest: This herbivore is about 65 feet long, but looks unlike many of the other large herbivores typically seen in a "Jurassic World" movie.
Though you may not care about dinosaurs as much as I do and the movie's in 2 years, I'm still hoping someone in charge will put some of these interesting dinosaurs in the movie.
