The flowers are in bloom and sun has begun to stay out a little bit longer. With all these changes in spring in warm weather, it seems that men tend to think that it's time to bring out some of their favorite looks. While these "looks" may be your favorites, they probably are not in style and should be burned. Here is a brief look at some fashion sins that will send you straight to a confessional.
1. Crocs
While I find it hard to figure out why any grown man would want to wear these, I know there some poor unfortunate soul loves them. They're only cute on toddlers, not grown men.
2. Chacos
Jesus may have worn sandals, but that was because the closed toe shoe hadn't been invented yet. You, however, have the privilege to live in a world where closed toe shoes exist! Wear them! And, if by some chance, you chose otherwise...do not wear socks with sandals. It's tacky and you'll match the old men in the nursing home.
3. Chubbies
"Sky's out, thighs out!"..... No one wants to see that. May I repeat, NO ONE. An inch or two above the knee for shorts. Any shorter and they become boxers briefs.
4. Loud Hawaiian Shirts
While you may dream of a tropical vacation, life is not always like that. These shirts are impractical and rarely look good on anyone. Try a solid color or a simple pattern. This isn't the 50's or 90's Romeo and Juliet.
5. Poorly Fitted Clothing
You need to make sure that your clothing isn't too tight or too loose. The better the fit, the better you'll look regardless of your body type. Figure out your right sizes and try things on before you purchase!
6. Flip Flops and Jeans
This is not a Hollister ad, gentlemen. Jeans and flip flops are no-go. There is a proper time and place for both articles of clothing, but they are never to have an interaction.
7. Printed Pants
Unless you wish to look like a pretentious frat boy, then you might want to consider changing your wardrobe. These pants are very loud and unflattering. You should try a solid color. Save the prints for ties and shirts.
8. Camo

It doesn't take some rocket scientist to figure out how to dress. You can check magazines like GQ or even google what's in style. Studies have shown that people judge you based on the way you dress especially when it comes to first impressions. Spring is the perfect time to clean out your closet and find something new to wear. Remember to donate any gently used clothes to Goodwill, The Salvation Army, or a clothing bank in your town.
