Deciding what to take to college can be a daunting task, especially for us girls. How can you possibly decide what beauty products to take? Well, I'm here with an inside look into what I found crucial to have in my makeup bag.
1. BB Cream
This product is especially great for when it's hot and/or you're in a hurry. It's light, gives you a little color and base, and has SPF, which is good no matter the weather.
2. Hand Cream
Even though you'll probably just be going from class to class, I found myself outside during the winter way more than I normally would when I was in high school. I picked up Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula Hand Cream and it was a life saver! My hands were so dry and cracked, I was in pain. This lotion helped almost immediately.
3. Reusable Razor
I struggled to find a place to store the razors I buy (I buy a lot at a time). About a month before school ended, I had an epiphany: use a refillable razor! Then you only have to store the blades!
4. Tweezers
This one may seem obvious, but I used to always have my brows waxed or use my mom's tweezers. I got to college, realized my eyebrows look horrendous, and didn't have any way to fix them. Also, splurge for the comfort grip. Totally worth it.
5. Dry Shampoo
College is tiring. Sometimes washing your hair takes a backseat. This is a necessity for not looking like the Loch Ness Monster.
6. Big Hand Sanitizer
Believe it or not, those mini hand sanitizers will go fast. I suggest investing in a full size bottle of hand sanitizer, particularly one that smells yummy :)
7. Baby Wipes
These double duty wipes have saved my tush more than once. (Did you catch my puns?) They make pretty good makeup wipes and can clean sticky messes all over your dorm room. Bonus: they're cheap!
8. A good lip balm!
I'm not going to give you a link for this one because I still haven't decided on my favorite. I feel like everyone has their preference. Even if you don't use lip balm that much, keep in mind the story about my dry winter hands. It applies to lips too.
