So, your boyfriend is dating you, obviously. But is he also "dating" your family?
Here are 8 signs that might be the case:
1. Your boyfriend and your family members have each others' phone numbers.
Not only do they have each others' numbers saved in their phones, but they also use them. A lot.
2. They buy gifts for each other.
Sometimes they buy the perfect gifts for each other and you wonder how they know each other so well.
3. Your family thinks it's strange if you show up to a family event alone.
As soon as you walk in the door, someone asks, "where's [instert boyfriend's name]?!" This question is usually followed by a million more questions about how he is, what he's doing, and why he isn't with you today.
4. They show affection to one another.
Your boyfriend isn't afraid to hug your family or let your grandma kiss him on the cheek. It's actually really cute.
5. Your family is constantly telling you how great of a couple you two make.
It's nice to hear that your family thinks you and your boyfriend are good together. A few of my family members have actually told me that they can see me and mine getting married one day.
6. They care about each others' milestones.
When your boyfriend or one of your family members have good news, they're always eager to share it with each other.
7. Your family considers him to be a part of the family.
My family is so close to my boyfriend that my dad already calls my him his son-in-law.
8. They really do love each other.
It's really sweet to hear them say, "I love you," and, "I love you too," when they part ways or hang up the phone.
