You have probably heard about recent uproar on the faux-dirt jeans that may or may not be mocking your average working-class person now for sale at Nordstrom. Every now and then, Nordstrom releases a particularly bizarre item and I have decided to do some more digging into the crazy world of Nordstrom's online store and come up with my top 8 favorite products that make everyone say WTF?

1. Barracuda Straight Leg Jeans.

These Jeans have been all over the internet lately and for good reason. Not only are they $425 for one pair, but they mock the look of a hardworking, blue collar individual. It is already bad enough that when I wear ripped jeans I get constantly asked if "I bought them like that" or "I was ripped off" ...Get it? Yeah, me too, and it's lame, and so are these jeans.

2. Medium Leather Wrapped Stone.

This high-end rock comes in two sizes: $85 for the regular and $65 for a smaller size. The price is said to be justified because of the all-natural, hand-made leather pouch. Not because of the rock whose credit is attributed to mother nature.

3. Clear Knee Mom Jeans.

For $95, you too can have your knees covered in plastic for all the world to see while also keeping up with the super cool mom jean trend.

4. Ilse Sock Sandal by Gucci.

Gucci has always been on the more pricey side, and for $1,190, these classic pumps and you can break the age-old fashion rule of wearing socks with sandals.

5. GP7 57mm Shield Sunglasses.

Honestly, I am not totally against these sunglasses. I am, however, not too psyched on the $450 I'd have to drop to own these cheap-looking shades. Crazy sunglasses are in, my dudes.

6. Peggy Platform Sneaker.

This bright platform sneaker could be yours, too, for $950 on the Nordstrom website. It'd make a great statement piece for those of you who prefer not to blend in.

7. Unbroken Revolution Spliced Hoodie

For $60, this is just plain dumb. I have no comment.

8. Gladiator Loafer by Gucci.

For $1,890, you could impress the pants off an employer at a fancy job interview and kick some serious butt at the Colosseum right after.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
