We all have had an awkward encounter once or twice.

Actually, scratch that. It has been at least 14 times a month. If you have not had an awkward encounter, do you even leave your house? Awkward encounters are cruel occurrences happening to the innocent people minding their own business or just trying so hard to not mess something up.

Speaking for myself, I normally don't get awkward about anything. But if you make things awkward, then I'll become awkward and we don't want that.

1. Living out your fantasy

Rather it's your crush saying something or you just got a weird deja vu feeling.

2. A "Gone Wrong" Handshake

Meant to shake a hand but you got a hand full of dick.

3. You giving a one-handed hug and he gives you two or visa versa.

Omg, it's the worst!!!!!

4. Calling someone the wrong name.

Sometimes you can't recover from that AND that's even more awkward

5. Seeing your ex with an UPGRADE in public.

You wish you said that instead of running away...and he most likely saw you too.

6. Not knowing if you’re on a date or not

Oh, the pain!!!!!

7. Talking to yourself about a situation you need to express yourself and someone hears EVERY WORD.

"Who are you talking to?"

8. Revealing you stalk your crush to your crush.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
