We don’t all have time for a part-time job, but we all have time to side hustle. There is not a college student around that couldn’t benefit from some extra bucks. I have done about all of the items listed, so you can trust they are legit. So, here are 7 ways to side hustle this school year:

1. Sell your notes

If you take solid notes, you can sell them to people in your class, at your university, or around the world! I did this last spring on StudySoup and made over $50 selling my notes. All I did was take photos of my notebook each week and upload the images. It is super easy and well worth it.

2. Test websites

This is a little more involved and harder to set up, but worth the hassle. I have made $73 so far testing websites with User Testing. It is easy once you get started and you make $10 a test: tests take about 10 minutes.

3. Sell clothes

I sell my clothes on Poshmark to make some extra bucks. It’s easy to make an account and upload listings. The shipping process is easy peasy and you can get the cash by way of check or direct deposit. I have made *about* $50 thus far. EXTRA TIP: You can also sell your clothes to Plato’s Closet! You get cash instantly, but you will have to leave your dorm.

4. Sell your textbooks on Amazon

I do this after every semester ends and I make way more money selling them to Amazon than to the university. I can’t even add up how much money I have made doing this, it would take forever. Just know, it’s easy, it’s legit, and it’s moneymaking.

5. Write papers for people

Now, I won’t and can’t admit to writing papers for people; however, I have heard of others doing it. Some people on my floor last year participated in this exchange and the writer got $20 for composing a 2-page paper last minute. All I can say is, be smart and write on.

6. Take surveys

So, I never had much luck in this one, just because I would get impatient and give up before I made any money. But, I have found this website called Paid Viewpoint that I haven’t given up on yet. I have made $5 (you have to make $15 before you can actually have it). Despite the minimal cash, the surveys are only 10 questions long, there is no commitment and you still make a little money!

7. Beg your parents

This one would never work for me, but you can give it a try. Just call up your mom or dad (whichever is more likely to fork over the cash) and get to groveling. Maybe they will feel bad that you are going hungry and are sleep deprived, and direct deposit some funds into your account.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
