With the school year coming to an end, the inevitable finals season is upon us. As one who regularly stresses about tests, projects and finals, I have found seven ways to prepare. These steps will help relieve some stress and make you organized for all you have left to do for each class.

1. Lists

Make a list of everything you have to do for each class with due dates. Although this may seem silly, it is good to keep track of every single item you need to get done. By adding the due date, you can see which items to prioritize and which you can hold off on accomplishing for a few more days.

2. Work out

Working out is such a good stress reliever. Even if you only go to the gym for 30 minutes or simply take a walk around campus, it is a great way to clear your mind before getting back to work.

3. Collaborate

Talk to other students in your classes to get help from them. Study with them, make joint review guides, etc. It will be nice to have someone to lean on when you have questions at 10 p.m. about a paper due at midnight.

4. Caffeine

Caffeine is a great way to maximize your time. Even if you do not like coffee, there are other ways to have caffeine. This boost will keep you going at the library for hours.

5. Making time

Do not forget that it is about to be summer, so you probably won't see many of your friends for a few months. Although finals can be crazy and stressful, still find time to see your friends and do everything you love at school.

6. Office hours

Meeting one-on-one with your professors is such a smart way to ensure you truly know the course material. Go to them with questions, concerns, etc. That's why they have office hours!!

7. Get started early

Do not wait until the last minute to start studying. Procrastinating will only make your final weeks at school miserable. Try to do something for each class daily if possible so you feel confident going into finals week.

Good luck on finals and have a great end of the school year! See you all at the library.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
