I think we often underestimate the power we have to impact the lives of those around us. Throughout the past year I have begun to realize how important it is to be kind to those around us. One positive or negative gesture can make or break someone's whole day. Brightening someone's day is so much simpler than we realize. Here are just a few ways you can do it!
1. Send them a handwritten note.
This is one of my favorite things to do. It doesn't have to be long, just let them know you are thinking of them.
2. Compliment them.
3. Show your appreciation.
Everyone wants to feel appreciated, but far too often people don't. Tell someone you appreciate all that they do and it is sure to lift their spirits!
4. Say thank you.
5. Pay for their meal.
This doesn't have to mean taking them out to an expensive dinner; it could be something as simple as bringing them coffee in the morning.
6. Do something nice for them.
7. Give them a hug.
Sometimes hugs are the best thing you can give someone!
