For most college students the spring semester has officially ended or they are entering finals week. People go from exercising every day to being stuck in the library or their rooms all day. Some colleges like mine have crazy traditions that either happen before or during finals week to blow off steam. At Washington College you do not realize the importance of May Day until you participate, and there always certain types of people.

1. People with body paint masterpieces

Yes, you are technically still naked even if you are covered in body paint

2. The people who put a Little too much Glitter

And they probably regret it after spending over an hour in the shower trying to get it off

3. The people you never expect to participate

4. The people who start all the chants

Whether that's just an O or USA

5. The people who look like they prepped all year and lead the lap

They worked all year to run maybe half a mile

6. The people who try to show off and get hurt

That's what you get for trying to show off in the dark at midnight

7. The Clothing holders

These are probably the most under appreciated people because they can easily get you out of sticky situations.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
