7 Ways To Have The Best Concert Experience, With Friends Or Alone

As an avid lover of music, I have been to a couple of concerts in the past, and with another one coming up soon, I have learned a lot about what you should and shouldn't do when attending a concert, and I figured it's only right that I share some of my experience with you to help you and everyone around you have the best experience possible.

1. Know The Venue

While you're going to the concert to have fun, it's important that whether you're going by yourself or with friends, you should probably know some things about the venue, such as whether it's inside or out, or how close to the stage you may be, you should go into the concert venue knowing some things about the place. One thing I can't stress enough is to know the policies of the venue because they are there for everybody's safety, so don't let a good time get ruined because you didn't know the rules.

2. Stay Hydrated

Whether you're inside or outside, it is important to drink plenty of a water before, during, AND after, because you're going to be spending a lot of time practically elbow to elbow with people, and all of you are going to be moving around a lot. So it is important to remain hydrated so that you can keep having fun and not worry about getting sick.

3. Decide What To Wear

This is probably the most important aspect of the time before the concert. Chances are that you will be at this concert for several hours, and so you want to be comfortable while you're there. So do some research ahead of the concert to figure out whether it's a good idea to dress light or heavy.

4. Use Your Own Personal Experience

When you attend the concert, use your own personal experiences to help you make it better for YOU. It's good when you can better understand what it is you want from your concert experience, and so if you have any past experiences with the venue or the band, you should definitely bring that with you.

5. Know The Lyrics

This one is probably the most obvious one, but you are going to be around a ton of people who DO know the lyrics, and so it's going to be really embarrassing when you start singing it wrong, so just save yourself from the embarrassment and learn the lyrics, for your own sake.

6. Show Up Early

I can not stress enough how important this is. If you are General Admission, then you are REALLY going to want to get there early so you can get the most optimal spot in the audience. Aside from that, it's just a good idea to get there early so that you can get some spare time to visit the merchandise shop, or if need be, use the bathroom, because chances are, you are not going to get the chance to go later. Now, I'm certainly not saying to get there the day before and camp out, but I would say at least an hour before doors open.

7. Don't Be Shy!

You are at the concert to have fun, so enjoy it and branch out a little bit, talk to the people around you. There really isn't an excuse not to, you're all there to see the same band, so you know you have at least ONE thing in common with them, so socialize and make some new friends, and I promise, you'll be just fine.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
