Until "Deathly Hallows," we didn't know Severus Snape had feelings. But as it turns out, he seems to relate to being a Harry Potter fan more than even Harry himself could.
When you'd walk into a midnight premiere in your hand-made costumes and all eyes were on you:
It made all the hours I spent sewing feel worth it.
Trying to deal with the Harry/Hermione shippers:
Get over it, everyone, she chose Ron.
When all your favorite characters die:
Don't worry, I'm not crying, it's just my eyes sparkling with the ghost of my past.
When you meet someone new and exciting, then they tell you they've never read or seen "Harry Potter":
Interest gone. Immediately. Talk to me again once you've learned what you get when you add powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood.
The anger you feel when someone tells you they hate your favorite character:
Look, I know it's not normal to like Draco Malfoy as much as I do. But tell me again that I'm wrong to like my favorite character, and I'll have no choice but to throw the Jelly-Legs Jinx upon you.
When someone tries to point out that none of it is real:
I don't want to hear your logic. It's all real to me. Sorry you don't understand what it's like to love words as much as I do.
When people ask you if you still like "those magic books":
Will I ever not like them?! Will I ever not love them?!
