Whether you're a returning student or a brand new baby freshman, going to college is always a huge transition that's bound to spark any normal functioning human being into at least a slight panic mode. So in case anybody who decided against college is curious as to what mindset their child, best friend, or girlfriend is having during their first week away, here you go.
1. Am I annoying my roommate?
Most freshman and some returning students didn't have a choice on who they're going to live with for a whole year, and that's always super sketchy for both parts. I mean, you don't know wheat their sleeping, cleaning, or studying habits are so you're probably going for the best while still secretly freaking out on the inside.
2. Crap, this class is going to be rough.
There's always at least one challenging class, which could mean extremely boring or difficult to keep up with in general. Either way, crap.
3. Wow, this is going to be my favorite class ever.

4. I'm going to get so ahead in all my classes
And then as the third day hits, it never fails: procrastination slaps you harder than the first time you tried talking back to your momma.
5. Is this morning class even worth it?
YES. IT IS. GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND GO.
6. I need a nap.. And food... And another nap..
Tired and hungry are the two most common feelings of the basic college student. You want to make them happy? Give them a pillow, blanket, and McDonald's. Done deal.
7. I miss real food.
Mom. Please. Send me home with ALL the leftovers. I'll never complain again.
Suck it up, buttercup. Go kick butt and make going into debt worthwhile. We got this.
