Let's be honest. Every single one of us has tried something that we previously thought was going to be terrible... and loved it. For some reason we are quick to judge certain foods, events, styles, people... the list can go on an on. I have compiled a short list of some things that I think people judge before they give them a chance. Hopefully you will look at these in a new light.
No. 1: Tofu

I know, I know... of course the vegan uses tofu as her first example... however, have you ever actually tried it? And if you have, have you tried it pressed, pan fried, and crispy, dripping with yummy sauce? I don't think so. So don't judge.
No. 2: Opera

Did you know that there are different types of opera? And they are not all in a foreign language too! Opera is not just a bunch of older women singing super high... it can be funny and passionate and full of adventure. Give it a try!
No. 3: Podcasts
Ok, so maybe you don't judge podcasts, but do you listen to them? Because they can be sweet. If you like being told a story, or learning really odd stuff, or listening to people talk, these are for you.
No. 4: Tattoos

I'm not asking you to like tattoo's, I'm just asking you not to judge them. Some people have them for really awesome and powerful reasons. And yes, this picture is of my tattoo.
No. 5: Contra Dancing

What is contra dancing? Well, I'm glad you asked! For a really great detailed description check out this link. In short, it's called dancing to live music. It's easy to judge... but don't.
No. 6: Food Blogs

Wether or not you like to cook, food blogs are fun to explore. Check out these awesome one's: Budgetbytes, Hell Yeah It's Vegan, Thug Kitchen (warning... this has some language...) and Minimalist Baker.
No. 7: People

Yeah, this is cliche, but probably the one that matters the most. I truly wonder what would happen if for one day we could put aside our judgments and see people for who they are.
