7 Things To Understand About The Ones Who Just 'Wing It'

Sometimes having a set schedule for everything is exhausting, we all have very hectic lives. So that's why we learn to just "wing it" in some situations, because it almost never turns out the way we expect anyway. Some see it as something they do when they're just about ready to give up, but for us, it's a lifestyle choice. And we wouldn't have it any other way.

1. Plans are optional always.

Having strict plans is never needed. You never know whats going to happen so you want to be ready for anything and everything. Don’t be suppressed by these so called “plans” your friends speak of.

2. You are the master of bullsh*t.

Whether its writing a paper or taking a trip, you never know what you’re doing ever, but that’s OK. Bullsh*t is a second language to you.

3. You love adventure.

If someone invited you on a three-week long road trip you would drop everything and go. No plans are even made yet but when you see an opportunity of a lifetime, you take it. No questions asked.

4. You’re quick on your feet.

No situation will stop you. You’re a quick thinker who can make the best of any situation. Who cares if you missed your train and you’re stranded? Who cares if your lost and you’re 45 minutes late to you’re friends party? You have no idea what you're doing, but you do it all with style.

5. You aren’t afraid to try new things.

Whether its a type of food or a different music style, you embrace the unknown rather than run from it. Any chance to try something new is one you take advantage of.

6. You bond with people more quickly.

You listen to strangers with certainty rather than uncertainty. Everyone you meet has a different story to tell and you’re ready to listen.

7. You live in the moment.

You don’t let the past get you down and you try not to worry about the future too much either. Your priority is always what is happening right now, and it’s the best quality to have.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
