Wawa is the holy grail of convenient stores in the northeast. For the people who have never been to Wawa, I'm sorry, and for those who have, you know that Wawa is so much more than just an average quick mart. Whether it is breakfast time, lunch time, or two in the morning, Wawa is the place to be.

1. Coffee

Wawa is the perfect place to start the morning. Their coffee and iced coffee is absolutely amazing. Wawa has their own formula of iced coffee that is already mixed with cream, sugar, and french vanilla flavoring and it is to die for. The great thing about the coffee from Wawa is that you can also put all of the flavoring, creams, milk, and sugar in on your own, so it is exactly how you want it to be.

2. F'real Shakes

These instant milkshakes from Wawa are to DIE for. They have a huge variety of flavors (my personal favorite is Reese's) and the shake itself is amazing. Even though its frozen, it tastes so fresh and homemade, and even in the middle of the night when the ice cream stores are closed, you can still get a F'real Shake!

3. Donuts

Donuts are the best thing to eat for breakfast, and they make a great dessert. Of course Wawa is always stacked with all different types of donuts which are all absolutely delicious. I suggest trying an apple fritter.

4. Hoagies

Every Wawa fan knows that Hoagiefest is the best time of the year! New Jerseyans, coming from the state with THE best SUBS (not hoagies), are very critical of subs because we are used to eating the best of the best. I have to admit that Wawa does make very good subs and sandwiches. A Wawa virgin would have trouble believing that these hoagies are from a convenience store.

5. Healthy Options

Believe me, I am all about the junk food life, but sometimes it's good to have healthy options, and Wawa has no shortage when it comes to nutritious options. Wawa has so many different packages of fruit, vegetable, salad, cheese, and amazing yogurt parfaits. There is literally an option for EVERYONE at Wawa, which is just another reason why it's simply the best.

6. Iced Tea

Wawa takes something as simple as iced tea, and makes it outstanding. Their peach and raspberry iced teas are better than Snapple, and their green tea is my personal favorite. Wawa's iced teas are the perfect drink to go with their famous hoagies, or as a refreshment on a hot summer day.

7. Pretzels

I saved the best for last, and the best thing to get at Wawa is their soft pretzels. I cannot go into Wawa without picking up some of these. These pretzels are better than Philly Pretzel Factory, and Auntie Anne's. They have a unique flavor unlike any other soft pretzel I have ever had. They are like a cross between the best pretzel you've ever had, and the best bagel you've ever had. Getting a pretzel, or a cheddar pretzel at Wawa is a necessity, and by far my favorite thing to get there.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
