We're almost out of the woods. The temperature is gaining momentum, the snow is melting, and our days are getting longer. Spring is finally here. We sacrificed an hour of sleep for more daylight, and it was so worth it. Instead of reaching for our parkas, we're be grabbing our umbrellas. Bring on the April showers! It's not snow that we'll have to dig ourselves out of, so we'll take it! Soon, instead of finding joy snow ball fights, we'll be making canon balls into our pools! When warm weather comes, fun tags along. Here are 7 things to look forward to during the warm weather seasons:

1. BBQ

You just can't beat the fresh off the grill taste or quality time with your friends and family. Plus, you can be as rowdy as you want to be.

2. Concerts

Sure, a concert is going to be awesome regardless, but they're just so much better outside! Not to mention, festival season is coming!

3. The Beach

It's not as simple as going to the beach. It's an event! Whether you go for one day or a week, it's a perfect getaway.

4. Workouts

It's finally safe to venture out of the gym in to the great outdoors. Long runs, scenic bike rides, soccer fields, and tracks are all within reach now.

5. Who Wears Short Shorts?

We can finally make like Twenty One Pilots and take off our pants!

6. Outdoor Seating

Now you'll have the option to eat outside when dining. Not only will that speed up the wait, but you'll also get some fresh air while you dine.

7. Summer hits

Get ready for those summer hits. Even if the radio stations have them all on repeat to make you dread them, they'll always remind you of those warm summer feelings.

Here's to making this summer the bets one yet!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
