We may come from a place where most of our relatives live, where there is only one stoplight in town, and your high school teachers taught your parents, but that does not make us any less of a person than those that come from a big city (or even the town over that thinks they are big just because they have more than one stoplight). Small Town, USA is the best place to be.
1. Did you ever have anything to do?

Yes, there were plenty of things to do. The best part is that they were mostly free as well.
2. So you dated your cousins, right?

Hush. Just hush.
3. Do people drive tractors to school?

No, I drive a car like a normal person. Just like everyone else that lives here.
4. I did [insert fancy thing here] so that makes me more experienced than you.

Seriously? Just because I never lived in a city does not make me any less of a human being.
5. You didn't graduate with many people so it wasn't that hard to be smart.

Did graduating with a lot of people make it easier for you to be dumb? Didn't think so.....
6. You've never been anywhere!

Actually, I have. My hometown isn't an enclosed box, I can travel anywhere I want to.
7. Do you have a cow?

No, but I want one. Maybe my apartment complex will overlook their weight limit policy....
8. OH MY GOSH! Say [insert totally normal word that city people think you say funny] again!
Please, don't make me repeat myself again. Yes, the accent is authentic. Buggy truly is a synonym for a shopping cart.
9. You don't know who [insert famous person here] is then.

I'm actually in tune with current events. I have a TV. I watch the news. I also listen to things on the radio besides country music. I wasn't raised in a barn....
10. Oh, I could never live there.

Don't knock it 'til you try it. I said the same thing about the city, and here I am.
11. Didn't you want to leave?

Once you leave, you want to go right back.
