If you're like me, you're an animal lover. Humans have always had a strong connection with animals, more specifically dogs. Dogs have been considered a man's best friend for as long as anyone can remember. These crazy animals have always been able to capture our hearts with floppy ears, adorable eyes or their tiny paws. Something about dogs just makes people so happy (sorry cat lovers). Here are seven signs that you're obsessed with dogs (and some cute dog pictures to match).
1. If you see a dog, it's a good day
No matter what kind of dog it is or how long you see it, seeing a dog is an amazing moment and instantly makes any day better. Just look at that face. How can you have a bad day after seeing such a cutie?
2. No dog is ugly to you
All dogs are beautiful in your eyes. Old, fat, small, young or skinny, you cherish any dog you encounter. No dog is really cuter than the other. Each dog you meet holds a bit of your heart.
3. Face licks are always welcome
No matter how gross it seems, you love dog kisses. It's one of the most sacred blessings a person can receive from a dog. Sure, it might leave your face a little sticky and you'll smell like a dog, but it's an act of love.
4. You've cried because a dog was so cute
You've probably had a moment where you've cried over a dog. It might be because it had that face or those ears, but crying over a dog is no joke. Dogs are very important to you. Your friends have probably made fun of you for it too, especially if it's a regular occurrence.
5. You know dog lover lingo
I probably don't have to say anything and you'd know who this dog(e) is. Words like, "Doge", "Doggo", "Pupper", "Floofer" and other dog lingo are probably words that you've used more than once. These aren't just silly ways to say dog; each different word means something else to you. "Doggo" means adult dog while "Pupper" refers to a small dog or a puppy that hasn't grown to full size yet.
6. You've wanted to ask to pet a stranger's dog without seeming weird
Walking up to someone and asking them to pet their dog doesn't seem that weird, but if they say no that's one less dog that you can pet. Most likely they'll say yes, so don't worry about popping the question.
7. You have videos or pictures of dogs all over social media
Whether it's your dog, a friend's dog or a dog from a page you follow, there are probably a lot of pictures or videos of dogs. They could be doing funny things or just being plain cute. Dogs will always be doing something silly enough to land them on the internet.
