Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and you know what that means: a romantic date night. Some couples like to go out for a nice dinner on the romantic holiday, but after you and your date chow down on some over-priced spaghetti and meatballs, it’s time to sit back, relax and watch Netflix.

Shows that couples like to watch together can be tricky to find at times because while you may want to watch “Bob’s Burgers,” she is probably dying to watch “One Tree Hill” on the inside. So, how do you decide what to watch? Pick a show you both will enjoy! Choosing a TV series to watch with your significant other is a great way to bond.

Here are seven great TV shows on Netflix to watch as a couple:

1. Friends

“Friends” is a classic sitcom show to watch and relax to after a long day and to have a good laugh. Nothing beats watching six quirky friends try to make it through life in their everyday crazy situations. The TV show is good for when you and your significant other are not wanting to watch an intense series.

2. Breaking Bad

Wanting something a little more serious? “Breaking Bad” is a TV show about a high school chemistry teacher with lung cancer who tries to help his financially struggling family by making and selling methamphetamine with the help of a former high school student. The twists and turns in the show make it great for any dude or gal to get into.

3. Jessica Jones

“Jessica Jones” is a new series only available on Netflix about a superhero girl trying to fit in with the world all the while trying to stop an evil mind-controlling villain named Kilgrave who used to take control of Jessica. She was the only one to break free of the evil man’s power. This TV show is perfect for a night of comic book action and a little bit of mystery.

4. Jane the Virgin

Before you judge a book by it’s cover, “Jane the Virgin” is a modern show about a girl named Jane who gets artificially inseminated with a cute hotel owner’s baby, who also happens to be Jane’s long-time crush. The show includes lots of family drama, but in a fun and witty way. Boy or girl, you will fall in love with the characters and the plot of the show instantly.

5. Making A Murderer

If you want to take your relationship to the next level, watch the popular Netflix documentary, “Making a Murderer.” The documentary takes you through the life of Steven Avery, and his first wrongful conviction of sexually assaulting a women that resulted in him spending 18 years in prison. The show takes more twists, but that’s for you and your significant other to discover.

6. Dexter

A show about a serial killer, now that’s interesting! “Dexter” is about a man who basically kills other killers who have done many terrible things in their lives. He claims to have a “Dark Passenger” and believes to have begun this life of killing after watching his mother being brutally murdered as a child. Before you give up hope on this show just yet, watch a couple of episodes and see how great the characters are and how surprisingly light the mood can be in the show.

7. How to Get Away With Murder

Do you like any of the “Law and Order” shows? You are likely to enjoy “How to Get Away With Murder,” a show about a lawyer and professor named Annalise Keating who finds students within her class to be her right-hand personnel on different trials she must work on. Annalise and her students find themselves in worse situations than they had expected when the students decided to take on their roles as star pupils. Before you think this show to be definitely one for the girls, see how the drama keeps you hooked in to watch every episode.

So, pop the popcorn, sit on the couch and pick out a Netflix show that will interest the both of you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
