Only children have it made.
1. I Never Had To Share A Room Until College
As an only child, I never had to worry about siblings barging into my room unannounced. Or anyone for that matter. So when I got to college and had to share a room with someone else, it was something brand new.
2. I Have Been Many Places I Might Not Have Gotten A Chance To Go To
I've been to Hawaii and many other places to watch Alabama play football. Seeing all the pictures from these trips makes me want to go back.
3. I Never Had To Match Another Child
Although this is super cute, and child goals, I'm so glad I never had to be this matchy-matchy with another kid. Granted, in family pictures we always coordinate, but we never match this closely. Very thankful.
4. Sibling Rivalry Didn't Exist At My House
I never had sibling rivalry because I don't have a sibling. If I competed against anyone, I competed against myself.
5. No One To Blame
Being an only child, I never had anyone to blame. If I did something, it was obvious, and I got in trouble for whatever it was.
6. My House Is A Shrine
There are so many pictures of me all over my house. With no other sibling achievements to compete with, its just me. So yea, pictures of me everywhere.
7. I'm Awkward with Children
I was never a fan of other children as a child. I found them annoying. I always enjoyed hanging out with adults more. I still do.
Honestly being an only child is awesome. I might be slightly spoiled because of it, but that's OK. I wouldn't trade being an only child for anything, but I want 2 kids so they aren't ever lonely.
