How I Met Your Mother ended back in 2014 and we are still not over it. Particularly, Barney Stinson's ending, where he ended up getting a divorce from Robin. She the went on to end up with Ted, who had lost the love of his life a few years back. So while Ted got both girls, Barney got none and this upset viewers because he captured their hearts over HIMYM's 9 seasons. Here a few reasons that prove that Barney Stinson is the best character.

Changing is not easy, it takes a very special person to change him or herself and Barney is one of them. In the beginning, he was a man whore and by the end of the series he had been a faithful. loving husband and a good father.
3. Babies and Animals
One of my absolute favorite scenes is when Barney realizes that he is going to be an uncles. Even though he did not believe in marriage and was a pig when it came to women, he was always great with babies and animals which made him so lovable. A true psychopath wouldn't care about babies and bunnies, but that is not Barney Stinson.
4. His Confidence
Barney wears confidence like his suits, constantly. Even though he's unorthodox he never let it bother him that his friend never completely understood him, which is really admirable.
5. He's A Good Person
Onions have layers and so does Barney. He always put up the front that he never cared about his friends, but deep down and one rare occasions he proved that was not true. He's the reason that some of them have jobs, and the way he brought Lily back was truly amazing.
6. His Talents
He is such a good singer and dancer which makes some of his bits hilarious. Another of my favorite HIMYM moments is when he sings "Stand By Me". *Claps in the distance.
7. His Face
Enough said.
