Have you ever had a head cold? One of those super nasty ones where your nose is constantly running but your entire face is just so swollen that you almost can’t feel it? And you sneeze…Constantly sneeze…Like every five seconds? Have you had one of those colds before? Well come spring time this is what we allergy stricken victims have to deal with all day, everyday! Having allergies is an absolute pain in the butt! Shout out to my homies who can relate to these seven reasons to love yet hate Spring.
1. It’s FINALLY sunny and warm outside!
But as soon as you go outside it’s instant regret.
2. The BEST way to “feel” better is to get some fresh air…
Unless that fresh air makes your eyes water and gives you a headache… You breathe as much fresh air in as you can until it's just a mess. No amount of sunshine can make that feel better... But I may get somewhat of a tan so it's worth it right?
3. There are so many different allergy commercials and everyone looks so happy!
Until the medicine makes you incredibly drowsy and loopy and you’d rather be sleeping than doing your job or enjoying the outdoors… (P.S…I have found that Claritin D is actually super great and it doesn’t make you drowsy!)
4. Those tissues with the lotion infused in them are AMAZING!
I just ran out of those tissues…
5. Well if I can’t go outside… Might as well get ahead of house chores!
(5 minutes later) I’m bored...Time to rewatch every season of Friends!
6. It's raining!

7. The "I promise it's just allergies I'm not sick." Excuse you give your customers...
Allergies can be very cruel. No matter where your job is the runny nose and constant sneezing show no mercy... (unless you take Claritin D like I previously mentioned...Seriously that stuff works miracles!) So working as a Barista, Lifeguard, babysitter, you name it, this excuse is...as some would say #thestoryofmylife
Maybe your symptoms are not as traumatic as I make it out to be. But if you have ever wanted to have some sort of clue into what your bestie is going through when they cancel plans to go to the lake with you tomorrow… Well… Here’s a pretty good start! And to my fellow allergy victims… May this be the year many tissues are spared and a season of many adventures... Hopefully outside of your homes...
