All of these things about fall makes me so excited its coming soon! September just stare and I’m already ready to take on the next couple of months and celebrating with my family as a college student. Not only are the holidays great but they’re even better when you having seen your family in a while. Fall is one of the greatest season, even though there are only four.

1) TOUCHDOWN!! (Football Season)

As a young girl who grew up on football, I can tell you this is my favorite season. Not just my favorite time of the year, but favorite sports season. It’s the time where we focus on something other than our boring lives and come together to root on their teams.

2) The leafs are changing!

Anyone from Upstate New York can tell you, you have never seen anything as the leafs changing and falling on the ground. We call it foliage, and its our favorite time of the year. Its chilly but not too cold and warm but not too hot.

3) PUMPKINS!

Can we all just say that pumpkins are the greatest fruit/vegetable! Like bro, it’s a fruit and a veg! How cool is that! Not only that but they come in all colors and sizes just like us humans!

4) Pumpkin Flavored Things!

Everyone says that they hate pumpkins flavored things but in reality they don’t. they just say that because they don’t wanna seem like they’re main-stream. But really we all love pumpkin, and if you don’t that’s okay! Us pumpkin loving people wont hate you!

5) Halloween!

Can we all just say that this is one of the most fun and most celebrated holidays in the world. We all love dressing up and being people we’re not. Also we just really love candy, like we all really love candy. All people of all ages, love candy.

6) Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of those holidays we celebrate but don’t really have to be religious to do so. We all love food , and we all love eating until we’re in a coma. I know I love leaving my grandparents house feeling 20 pounds heaver. All the turkey, and pie and dessert, man its all so good. And watching football while we wait for food makes it all better. In my family, all the kids go outside and toss around a football and talk about college and school.

7) It’s Closer to Winter!

Winter is my second favorite season, one because it so beautiful out with the snow. But also because Christmas. Christmas is quite literally my favorite holiday, not because we get presents, but because that’s the time of year were everyone is all about kindness, and helping others. I find it silly that people only do kind things around holidays, we should be kind all the time. Also I love the cold! I love cuddling up in my room on my bed with 7 blankets and a book and some hot cocoa!

Fall is just an amazing season all together! Together we all need to appreciate the joys of fall!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
