7 Pros And Cons Of Having A Guy Best Friend

It is ridiculous that in this day and age, a girl can no longer be just friends with a guy. I mean there is a definable difference between boyfriend and boy friends.

It's honestly sad and funny when some people cannot tell the difference. I have one boyfriend who has been just my friend for 11 years. Throughout all that time we never dated we were and always have been extremely content with being just friends.

Of course, with every relationship/friendship there are their Pros and Cons:

1. Pro: Good fashion advice

What better than getting advice from a person who knows exactly what a guy wants? This way, you get it without all the sexual tension you would get from any other guy.

2. Con: They are always jealous of other guys.

When it comes to having other guy friends, you have to a make sure they all get along. Otherwise....well, you will have WWIII everyday.

3. Pro: You always have a fake boyfriend.

Boys will be boys, so if they see you are in trouble they will do everything to protect you. For instance, if you had a creepy guy or girl (whatever you fancy) who you want to get rid of, a guy friend can play the part to get them to leave you alone. Even if, say, you have an event. They will do that, too, only because you would do that for them as well.

4. Con: People always believe you're dating.

My friend and I last year started working together, and now all our co-workers always think we are together together. It can honestly become extremely annoying because if you hug for too long, if you hi-five and your hands are touching for too long...if anything happens for too long, you're "dating" and it's tiresome to keep repeating that you're not.

5. Con: You always run out of food.

Trust and believe I have never understood how boys eat for 1 like they're eating for 20. I mean I've hung out with plenty of guys just to hang out. If you order take out you better order extra everything. If you don't, you will have nothing for yourself.

6. Pro: You are never alone.

Boys will always say they're so macho and strong, but just like us they get bored very easily. So if they truly are your #bestie they will always be down for movie night and pizza.

7. Pro and Con: You will always have to play activities that you may or may not want to play.

I'm always down to try new things -- growing up with guys, I am bomb at football, but when they want to go into all the technicalities, I'm Just like who are you talking to??? It can't be me?!?!??!?!?!

All in all your Best Friend is your Person, whether they be a boy or a girl.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
