Where you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, we all look forward to the presents we will be receiving and giving to those special to us. College student can be tough to shop for sometimes; so here is a list of 7 presents (mostly) all college students would like for the holidays.

1. Portable Battery

College students are on their phones 24/7, which means their batteries die fast. Plus, not all classrooms and lecture halls have outlets near seating. Having (and using) a portable battery will eliminate the stress and anxiety when their phone dies at 3pm any they still have classes until 8pm.

2. USB's

Pin drives, Jump drives, Flash drives, call it what you will but this is a great present for college students. They might not appreciate it at first, but when their computer decides to crap-out on them at 11pm and they have to finish an essay that's due by 11:59pm, they will be happy they have one. Students do so many assignments over the semesters that it can all pile up on your hard drive and slow down your computer. They can use the USB as external storage to keep their computers runny fast as well.

3. Games

We all like game, especially college students. Games are a way to destress and have a good time with friends and family. Get students games biased on their likes but if you're unsure then Cards Against Humanities is always a college favorite.

4. Money

Let's face it, college students are known for having no money. After paying hundreds of dollars for textbook, school supplies, and Chick-fil-a, it's no surprise most college student try to manage a weekly budget of $5. Giving them some extra little cash will surely brighten up anyone's holiday.

5. Gift cards

If you don't want to give a college student cash directly then try a gift card. You can't go wrong with gift cards! As stated before, most college students don't have the money to go out and buy new clothing. Therefore, gift cards are always acceptable. If your unsure of what store they like then anything food related is always a good option!

6. Food

Actually, let's just put food on this list as well. If there is one thing all college student love, it's free food. Whether you make it yourself or just take them out to eat, any student will appreciate the jester of free food (plus a drink if they are 21+).

But the best gift of all is:

7. Paying tuition

The majority of college students either pay tuition themselves or take out loans to pay. Helping a struggling student out when they need it will leave a warm feeling in your heart and leave a tear in their eye. Whether it be one class or just a semester, the act will not be forgotten easily and will make any holiday the best one yet.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
