Maybe seven of the cutest kids anywhere…

Fun Fact: Ellen doesn’t have kids herself, but she named her dog “Kid” so she can tell people she has a kid.

1. Brielle

The most adorable 3-year old-girl you will every encounter, who also happens to know the entire periodic table. You will NEVER understand anything she says, but don’t worry there are subtitles. If you are ever in the mood to smile or want to feel like your kids are not smart enough, Brielle is definitely the go-to.

“Shes brielle-iant”

2. Kai Langer

Kai is clearly not shy. If you gave this kid his own talk show he wouldn’t need any guests. Every time Kai is on the show, he sings his new favorite song. Recently, he has been adding some snazzy dance moves into his performance. Let’s just say that Kai will not get a record deal anytime soon, but his commitment to the song is so darn cute.

Fun fact: for his 7th birthday, his goal is to try to get a 6-pack.

3. Tayt Andersen

By far a true fan favorite. My dad and I LOVE watching him grow up on "The Ellen Show." Tayt was born with half of a heart. When he is in the hospital his favorite saying is “just keep swimming,” a quote from Ellen’s character in "Finding Nemo." Tayt had a heart attack and started recovering only after Ellen, his “girlfriend,” called him. June 23, 2016 is a day that changed Tayt’s life for the better — he received a new heart. No matter what Tayt goes through he always has an amazing attitude and gets a new burst of energy when Ellen calls.

“There aren’t too many people I’ve met that have a heart as good as yours; that you have right now. You have an amazing heart; you are an amazing guy, but if you want to get another heart that’s ok with me.” – Ellen pre-Tayt’s heart transplant

4. Balang

What a cute little nugget from the Philippines. He speaks little to no English but don’t worry Ellen always has a translator. Ellen tries to understand what he says but fails all of the time. This little round munchkin is a Zumba teacher. There is so much energy in this little kid and he actually is a great dancer. I NEED to go to the Philippines to take Balang’s class.

5. Noah Ritter

The FUNNIEST kid whose favorite word is “apparently.” His internet fame came when he was interviewed by a local news reporter at a state fair. He says absolutely anything that comes into his mind with no filter. For example, he compares pre-school to prison. Ellen sends him to random places just for his amazing and hilarious comments. He loves dinosaurs, so Ellen brought out a dinosaur on the show and Noah said “I’m pretty sure that’s just a guy in a costume.” If you are in the mood for a serious laugh, this kid is a must-watch.

6. Sophia Grace and Rosie

Sophia Grace and Rosie are cousins who are the pink tutu loving girls from England. They were so little when they first appeared that the two of them fit in one chair. Sophia Grace sings and Rosie is her “hype girl.” Rosie is a cute little girl who probably spoke two words on her first appearance, but don’t worry — Sophia Grace spoke enough for the two of them. The Ellen Show is just the start of their fame. From this show, they’ve made their own movie and wrote their own book. These two are up to big things.

7. Macey Hensley

When she first appeared on Ellen, she was five years old, and was a presidential expert. She started to learn about the presidents only one year earlier. She knows all of the presidents in order and fun facts about each one. Ellen has introduced her to the Obamas, Hillary Clinton, and even the Obama’s dogs. She claims that she wants to be president when she gets older, so she can eat as much candy as she wants. She has many hilarious remarks that makes her so fun to watch.

FYI, when I was five, I don’t think I even knew who the current president was.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
