7 Must Watch Series on Netflix With your Best Friend

One of the most precious moments in life is when one finds their true soul mate. When that moment sparks like a newly lit firework that bursts into the sky, you become confident that you've found someone so special that no one will ever compare to them. No, I am not talking about the person you plan on marrying and starting a family with. I'm talking about the girl in 5th grade that you despised because of your jealousy of her clothes and beauty. That awkward person you did not like that forced themselves onto you during your freshman year of high school that changed your life forever. Here are the top 7 shows that make me miss you like crazy and remind me that I am lucky to have a friend like you.

1. Grey's Anatomy

Every Meredith needs a Cristina and every Cristina needs a Meredith. The twisted sisters are a perfect example of a strong and unbreakable friendship. This series shows how two independent women go through hell and manage to not only survive but come out stronger together. Of course, Grey's Anatomy is also about the dreamy men and the unfortunate events that happen and make me question not only my moral compass, but my whole purpose.

2. One Tree Hill

No matter how many mistakes are made or how much "accidental" backstabbing happens, you always have your best friend. Brooke was not shy when it came to men and Payten was not shy about standing up for what she believed in. They both had their strengths and weaknesses: they also grew into the type of women I aspire to be. Brooke and Payten remind me that I should never leave my best friend, even when I move and follow my dreams.

3. Gossip Girl

We are all guilty of telling our best friend a secret after we were specifically told, "Do not tell anyone what I am about to tell you." I know I am guilty of that so what better show than Gossip Girl? Gossip is a must when it comes to best friends.

4. New Girl

I love the type of friendships where I can be my goofy self and know I will get judged only from a loving perspective. Not to mention the insane drinking games we play (I made it a mission to learn how to play True American). I am a Jess in this world and I love my CeCe.

5. Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23

My closest friends were not always fond of me, and vise versa. In fact, pretty much all of my closest friends hated me but soon became a part of me in some way. We have crazy nights that we ultimately cannot remember just like June and Chloe.

6. Supernatural

Our best friend becomes family, just a family member we choose. This series is about the supernatural adventures of two brothers who happen to be best friends as well. I know this show is not your typical "girly" show but it shows an unbreakable bond between two people. What would a friendship[ be without vanishing demons?

7. Vampire Diaries

Elena and Bon Bon are the ultimate friendship goals. From getting advice about guys to risking your life to save the other. I don't know about you but I would hope my best friend would be willing to give up her own life to let me live, and of course I would do the same.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
