You don't know me well enough if you don't know that I am obsessed with pugs. I believe pugs are the cutest pups on this earth, and if you happen to disagree, I know of a few furry friends who just might change your mind. Plus, my Instagram feed is pretty much entirely pugs at this point, so I'm definitely the right person for this job.
1. Lungo // @lungo_pug
If you appreciate formal wear, Lungo is the pug pal for you. Lungo clearly knows how to rock a bowtie. He also has a ton of adorable shirts, hats, and toys. This cutie lives in Thailand, and he's not afraid to let it all hang out. Which I think is quite clear in the image above.
2. Bartholomew // @bart_the_pug
Bartholomew just might have the most impressive pug tongue on the internet. This sweetheart lives in San Diego and literally looks like he's ready for a snack every moment of his life. So am I, Bart. So am I.
3. Baby Louie and Friends // @pugsnkisses8
Quite possibly my favorite Instagram account of all time. Louie is the luckiest child in the world, considering he probably hasn't been alive for two years and yet every day he's surrounded by little pug friends. This account posts a ton of videos of Louie and his crew bopping around and living my dream life. If you want to cry from cuteness, give them a follow.
4. Hamilton // @hamiltonpug
Hamilton knows how to work this yellow harness, and he always looks like a wise elder with his gray scruff and pronounced frown. He can often be seen hanging out with his little brother Rufus (@realrufuspug). Both pugs are rescues currently living the dream in NYC, so keep an eye out for them next time you're in Central Park.
5. Homer // @homerpugalicious
Homer loves to lay down and eat food. Homer might be my spirit animal. He also has the cutest pug-sized outfits (just look at that cardigan!!!) and makes an astonishingly realistic stand-in for iconic characters like Darth Vader and E.T.
6. Ink Pug // @inkpug
Etsy artist Lauren creates adorable pug art, prints, and cards that you can check out here. She posts her collection along with doodles and works-in-progress on her Instagram. The pugs she draws all have names and distinct personality traits. Not only is she a talented artist, but a lot of her prints are really funny, too!
7. Doug The Pug // @itsdougthepug
Doug The Pug is probably the most famous pug on the planet. He lives in Nashville but travels all over the place for his flourishing career. Doug's great at reenacting scenes from popular TV shows and movies, loves to dress up, and always has a fun snack nearby. I first heard about Doug when I watched his parody trailer of Orange is the New Black, which I highly recommend all fans of the show watch.
