7 of my Favorite Things About the Holidays

Christmas is the best time of year, and there are too many reasons why.

7 of my Favorite Things About the Holidays

Christmas is right around the corner, and I thought that it was fitting to share 7 of my favorite things about the holidays. The last two months of the year are my favorite time of the year, and here is why.

1. Decorating

Christmas isn’t Christmas without the tree and other decorations. It is so much fun decorating the house with the family. We normally start getting in the Christmas spirit the day after Thanksgiving. Making the house feel all cozy is the best time of the year.

2. Watching Christmas movies

Christmas movies are the BEST thing ever. There are so many great movies, like Elf or The Christmas Story. Writing this right now, I am watching Elf.

3. Eating all the Christmas cookies

There are some things that are only made ONCE a year. Those are my dad’s famous Christmas cookies. So, you'd better believe I am eating as much as I can.

4. Baking all of the Christmas cookies

Baking the Christmas cookies is almost as fun as eating them. But making a mess while creating goodness is the best. Nothing like family time in kitchen.

5. Giving presents

The holidays are all about giving, and giving to others is one of my favorite things. Seeing people’s faces light up when you give them a present is just the best feeling.

6. Christmas music

Christmas music makes me feel so happy, and everyone so happy quite frankly. Nothing is better than a Christmas music jam sesh.

7. Spending time with the family

Last, and certainly not least, spending time with your friends and family is the BEST thing ever. So many memories are made, and so many old memories are shared. The holidays aren’t the holidays without the family.
