The brainiac couple

This category encompasses both motivated go-getters and overachievers as well as self-proclaimed intellectuals. They're almost always at the library. Sometimes uncomfortably close to your study spot, sometimes distracting you because PDA, making you want to be like:

The hipster couple

This couple might seem quiet or reserved, but the truth is that they don't need to be talking all of the time to enjoy each other's company. Both people in this couple are laid back. They also have great style, and probably also great hair:

The on again-off again couple

They've broken up and reconciled so many times that everyone has stopped keeping track. It's your typical roller coaster romance. They can't seem to stay away from each other. However the volatile nature of their relationship often makes their friends want to do this:

.

The "beacon of hope" couple

They've been together forever. Everyone loves them and also secretly hopes that they end up together because the thought of this couple breaking up would lower your faith in romantic love. All you really have to say about this couple is:

The social media couple

You know this couple because you see pictures of them together quite often on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. They might have met using social media (tinder romances). They text 24/7. You know what he got her for Valentine's Day because you saw it on Instagram. You know where he took her for dinner last weekend. Let's face it: you know way more about this couple than you want to. But if you ever poke fun at this couple's excessive social media involvement, you're likely to get something like this:

The "you're a couple?" couple

There's one of these on every college campus. When you find out these two people are together, your first response is: wtf? This refers to 1. Private/low-key couples that don't advertise the fact that they're together, as well as 2. Open relationships. Either way, when you find out from someone who isn't your friend, you really just want to be like:

The PDA couple

And finally, the couple we all know and (sort of love?) This couple pretty much explains itself. They're handsy everywhere, and I do mean everywhere, and alcohol just exacerbates the physical affection, making it look somewhat like this:

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
