Everyone from UD knows we have tons of great food options to choose from (most of which come from our beloved Main Street). I have compiled the top 10 most popular ones. So if you are feeling hungry and are tired of dining hall food here are some alternate options to fulfill your craving!

1. El Diablo

Some may call it an "upscale Chipotle." This Mexican place will fulfill any burrito bowl need. They have a bigger variety from Chipotle so it is definitely one to check out.

2. Klondike Kate's

The FAMOUS "Kate's" is a staple to all UD students. Whether it be to stop in for a drink, or Tuesday 1/2 priced nachos this wonderful establishment never disappoints.

3. Grotto's

Now the pizza may not be from Jersey (sadly) but it isn't terrible. This is the hotspot for fresh 21 year olds who are there celebrating and people who TRY to get in (good luck!).

4. Duck Donuts

Now if you have yet to partake in the delicacy that IS Duck Donuts, what are you doing?! These gourmet donuts are perfect for a snack or to satisfy any sweet tooth. They are perfectly fit for a college student's budget and with endless options there is definitely something for everyone!

5. Claymont Steak Shop

Now THIS is what I call a Philly Cheesesteak! (Yes we are a suburb of Philly so we are aloud to say that!) If you have yet to indulge in one of these, all I can say is, you are missing out!

6. Brew Ha Ha!

Whether you are looking for a nice chai latte, or just a casual hang out/study spot, this is the place for you! It gives you a quick and delicious escape from the hustle and bustle of college life for a quick sec and helps you relax and unwind.

7. Newark Deli and Bagel

Now being born and raised in Jersey there are two things I know when they are good, and that is bagels and pizza. This bagel place is a VERY close second to a Jersey bagel and that I feel is very hard to do all the way down in Delaware. Enjoy any kind of bagel or sandwich you want and I promise you will not be disappointed!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
