There's a big difference between a normal bar and a college bar. Here are 6 types of people you will for sure see at a college bar so you can go ahead and brace yourself for it.

1. The Table Dancers

These are some of the most entertaining people you will meet at a bar. When they’re not ordering drinks, you’ll most likely spot them standing up in a booth and dancing like there’s no tomorrow. You’ll definitely see them with a group of friends, or with a guy if they’re feeling a little promiscuous.

2. The Inexperienced Pledge

This is the guy that is obviously not old enough to be in a bar, can barely walk or stand up straight, and who is either being carried by his brothers to puke in the bathroom or is getting kicked out for being way too intoxicated. He probably used his big brother's old ID to get in anyways, though. You can tell he’s never been to a bar before because he gets hammered after two Redbull Vodkas. Pray for this kid; he’s definitely gonna need it.

3. The Rich Kid

Basically, this is the one whose parents have a trust fund set up for him and put way too much money into his bank account every week. He’s the guy you’ll see buying drinks for girls and buying shots for all his bros. We all wish we were this kid tbh.

4. The Schemers

Ladies, do yourself a favor and stay away from these ones. You’ll find them on the dance floor looking for girls that are way too drunk to make good decisions. These guys need to learn that a bar is a place to drink and have fun, not a brothel.

5. The Moms

These girls are definitely MVPs. It takes willpower to control your drinking and take care of your group of friends. You’ll find these girls telling their friends to not buy another drink, not to dance with that boy, holding their hair back when their throwing up in the bathroom, and calling the Uber when it’s time to go home.

6. The Crazy Frat Boys

Decked out in Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide and Polo, these are the boys who obviously drink too much, causing them to be extremely loud and obnoxious. These boys either party in their mansion or go out to the bars 4 days a week at least, and never cease to rage balls when their intoxicated. Fun guys if you ask me!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
