We see them on campus all the time. We silently stereotype them as we walked past them walking to class or the first day of classes. It’s the types of guys we see on our college campuses. Each college has thousands of students and there are so many ways to categorize the males students we see. It’s hard not to deny that we’ve all seen these kinds of guys on campus. Sometimes it’s easier to spot some more than others, but some of extremely easy to spot solely based on their attire.

Here are the top 6 kinds of guys you'll see trolling around your college campus.

1. The Frat Guy

He owns and wears an endless amount of sorority shirts with khaki shorts and New Balance shoes. He is usually accompanied by one of his “frat bros” or a girl he’s interested in. His favorite word is “bro.”

2. The Pledge

If there are frat bros on campus, chances are you’re gonna spot some pledges as well. He’s easy to spot and is usually wearing something out of the ordinary on, like a powderpuff backpack, while wearing a full suit every day.

3. The Hipster

He’s usually wearing a flannel and trendy circular glasses while carrying his signature coffee mug. He’s probably an English major and works for your campus newspaper or local coffee shop.

4. The Outdoor Guy

Again, he's usually wearing a flannel. He probably goes rock climbing or hiking in his spare time. He’s wearing hiking boots to class with his Camel backpack.

5. The Athlete

You can always spot this guy because he’s repping his sport 24/7. From the t-shirt to sweatpants to the backpack, you can always tell what sport he plays. He’s also surrounded by at least 3 other buddies who are on that same athletic team.

6. The Dressed Up Guy

He wears khaki pants and a brown belt with a school polo tucked in, topped off with a nice pair of loafers. This guy sits in the front of the classroom and answers all the questions. He probably gets straight A’s without trying and has been on the dean’s list since pre-K.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
