6 Times Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Redefined Relationship Goals
Life and Style

The morning of Sept. 20, 2016, was a morning that would forever go down in infamy. Longtime celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their divorce that day, with Jolie citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. From rumors that Pitt cheated on Jolie with co-star Marion Cotillard to child abuse allegations involving the oldest Jolie-Pitt son, Maddox, it definitely seems that the almost picture-perfect relationship Brangelina had has now turned absolutely chaotic. But for now, let's take a look back at happier times for the former couple and the many ways that they redefined relationship goals.

1. When they starred in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" together.

The Brangelina love story began back in 2003 when they met on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." And even though it has heartbreaking to hear about Pitt's divorce from Jennifer Aniston, things worked together for the good, knowing that a brand-new romance was in full bloom.

2. When they showed off their beautiful bundles of joy to the entire world.

The couple's first child, Shiloh Nouvel, was born on May 27, 2006, and their twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, were born on July 12, 2008. Their first photos were revealed in the pages of People Magazine, and the Jolie-Pitts reportedly paid an estimated amount of $11 million for the photos to be released.

3. When a pregnant and glowing Jolie looked even more radiant with Pitt by her side at the Cannes Film Festival.

Two months prior to Knox and Vivienne's birth, Jolie debuted her movie, "Kung Fu Panda," at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Her green Max Azria Atelier dress is still one of the prettiest dresses ever seen on a pregnant woman, and her Bulgari jewels were absolutely stunning.

4. When Pitt adopted Jolie's oldest children as his own.

Pitt adopted Maddox Chivan and Zahara Marley in 2006, while Pax Thien was adopted by Pitt in 2008. Maddox and Pax were born in Cambodia and Vietnam, respectively, while Zahara was born in Ethiopia.

5. When Pitt presented Jolie with a massive Robert Procop ring.

Brangelina announced their engagement in April of 2012, and all eyes were fixated on Jolie's elaborate ring. The $250,000 sparkler from Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop took a year to be designed, and according to Pitt, he wanted every aspect of it to be "perfect."

6. When they finally tied the knot inside of a French chapel!

After almost a decade together, Brangelina decided to take their relationship to the next level with an intimate French wedding on Aug. 23, 2014. Jolie's wedding dress was designed by Atelier Versace, and it even included designs from every Jolie-Pitt child. Brad's tie came from one of his sons because he forgot to pack his own. Robert Procop, the same jeweler behind Jolie's engagement ring, also designed the wedding bands. It was a very magical day for everyone that was involved.

These were just a few of the fun times from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's relationship. Rest in peace, Brangelina. You will truly be missed.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
