Flying on an airplane. If you're going across the country, or even just a few states away, it's a necessity for travel. We all have our own feelings towards flying, whether you love it or hate it, there's an extremely high chance that you have experienced these thoughts while soaring the sky in a plane.
1. Alright I'm finally boarded! Let's get this show on the road.
Or I mean get the show in the air. I want to get to my destination!
2. Hey lady next to me, can you please put your bag under your own seat and not take up all of my legroom?
On airplanes, room is tight. Every centimeter of space is valuable. So when it comes to sitting on a short row with two other people close to you, you've got to make the most of your room. Don't let the person next to you take advantage of your space. That legroom is yours, so own it and don't let the older lady next to you steal it from you!
3. Where's my travel pillow? I need to get comfy asap.
Ahh, travel pillows. What a magnificent invention. A mini packable travel necessity that you can't live without on your plane ride. Whether it be a flat pillow or a u-shaped neck pillow, you need to find it as soon as you get on your plane to maximize the time you have to rest.
4. Okay, time to take a few Snapchats before take-off!
Why would I even come on this plane and go somewhere without sharing the experience with my fellow Snapchat homies? I'll strategically place my beverage from the gift shop, my current inspirational novel, and my boarding pass on the pull down lap desk. I'm excited to be off to my destination. #Wanderlust, am I right? Is there any cool geotags where I'm at? God bless you, Snapchat, and your amazing filters.
5. Damn it! Why didn't I get a window seat?
On an airplane flight, looking out of the window during takeoff and feeling that lump in the pit of your stomach is amazing. It's just such a bummer when you want to gaze out of the window, but people are sitting in your window seat. You'll just have to deal with looking at the beauty from afar.
6. Wow, the flight is over already? That was so quick.
Time flies when you're traveling in the air. Whether you're watching a complimentary movie through the airline company, reading your inspirational novel, or taking a long snooze, the time passes by extraordinarily quick. I better get off this plane now and go claim my stuff from baggage claim.
Flying is something that I was so nervous about until recently, and now I am a huge fan of traveling via air! Flights can be fun and enjoyable and quick way to get to your destination. So although you're probably thinking all of the above thoughts while traveling, keep in mind almost everyone your age is feeling the same way on the plane. Embrace the fun of flying and be respectful of other passengers!
