For all of you who have a big sister, you can agree she's wonderful. You're living with your best friend 24/7 and you can annoy her all you want. Sometimes, she'll annoy you more though. You might not always get along, but at the end of the day, there's no one else you want to have a girls' night with. I have to say, I'm thankful to have my big sister and I don't know what I would do without her.
1. You learn how to share your things
If you have a sister, you know what it's like when they steal your clothes, shoes or anything else they would like - without asking. Eventually, you learn to share your things with each other. However, you kind of get used to it and when you're living with your friends in college, you borrow each other's clothes.
2. You learn how to fight
After stealing your sister's things, you always end up fighting about it. Usually those fights will lead on to a different topic and then your parents get involved. But, the good thing about fighting with your sister is that you learn to fight your own battles.
3. You learn how to support one another

4. You learn how to bend the rules
Your big sister teaches you the tricks on how to bend the rules when it comes to your parents. Whenever you want something, you both find a way to make your parents say yes. Take the movie "10 Things I Hate About You," for example. The dad made a rule that the younger sister wasn't allowed to date unless the older sister did. Eventually, they both found a way to get what they wanted.
5. You learn how to be a real adult
You learn from your sister's mistakes as she grows older, but growing up with her teaches you how to be an adult. She'll try to make sure you learn how to be responsible, so it's up to you to take her advice. We all have to grow up eventually, and because of my big sister, I'm not worried about becoming an adult.
6. You learn how to be a true friend
In the end, your big sister is your best friend, and because of her you learn how to be a true friend to someone else. You tell each other everything, keep each other's secrets and tell each other when you're making big mistakes. So, I'd like to say thank you to my big sister for guiding me through life. I love you.
