6 Thing To Remember During Move In

Moving into college can be a crazy thing, especially when it is your first time. So freshmen, listen up, everyone else take these ideas as a reminder.

1. DO NOT STRESS.

As much as people tell you everything will be fine and you don't believe them, I promise it will be. It is this huge day that involves so much work. It is easier if you don't add more stress by worrying about every little detail.

2. Patience is going to be key.

There are going to be hundreds of people around, including workers doing their best to help. Don't push them and remember these people around you are your new friends and floormates-- make a good impression.

3. Make as many friends as possible.

You are going to stay friends with some of the people you meet during welcome week, but you are also going to meet so many more people. Get to know was many people as you can.

4. Get as involved as you can.

There will be a lot of clubs and organizations present on campus this week. Get to know as many as possible and get involved as well. This is the best way to get your face out there.

5. Remember the word COMPROMISE.

You are going to be living with someone in a small space. For a lot of people this is the first time they'll be living in a room with someone else. Just remember to compromise and don't do anything without talking about it first.

6. This may be the hardest, but ask for help.

If you are lost on campus, not sure what to do, or just need help. Don't be embarrassed! There are so many people here to help you and they were all in your place at one point.
