Its summer which means an all new season of ‘Big Brother’ is starting soon. This is going to be the show's 18th season and is already promising an amazing season with the top reviews. For all the ‘Big Brother’ fans out there your wait is just about over. June 22nd the show is set to premiere. This is a date that all the fans have been waiting for since September 2015. If you are new to the show or interested here is just some of the things that you will get to see this summer on ‘Big Brother.’

1. New House Guests.

A new season approaching means a new crop of house guests to keep us entertained all summer. The guests come from all over the country trying to win the grand prize of $500,000. You start to fall in love with your favorite house guests and quickly realize who your least favorite house guests will be.

2. Competitions.

One of my favorite parts of the show is the competitions. You will see the HOH competition, the Veto competition and in the past couple seasons the Have or Have Not or Battle of the block competition. There is a variety of competitions from food, memory, balance, strength and perseverance. You never know what you will get and that’s one of the best parts.

3.Zing Bot.

ZZZZIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGGG, is one of the phrases you will love to hear on the show. Zing Bot is a robot that comes into the Big Brother house and insults all the houseguests. Zing bot always guarantees a good laugh for the people watching.

4. The Twists.

Big Brother is not complete without some of the crazy twists that happen throughout the summer. As a fan and for the houseguests they are always told to “Expect the Unexpected,” and that’s exactly what the show does. You never know what the show is going to do next.

5. “Showmances.”

Showmances, a show romance, is something you will see every season. You will see someone instantly start liking someone from the first episode and it’s fun to see their relationship grow throughout the show. Some only last on the show and some go on outside the house and turn into marriages.

6. Julie Chen.

The face of Big Brother is the lovely Julie Chen. She is the host that runs the show and you can’t help but think of her when anyone mentions the show. She is there to bring up all the new twist and get the competitions going.

I hope everyone is as ready for Season 18 as I am. Get your popcorn ready because June 22, 2016 you know where to be.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
