The closer the holiday season gets, the more pressured us ladies feel to find a date to take to a haunted house. But who needs a date when you're surrounded by girlfriends who are up-and-ready to explore at a moment's notice?
1. Take a nature walk
One of the most appreciated things about Fall is the beauty that comes with the changing of the leaves. Find a nearby nature trail and go on an adventure!
2. Go to a haunted house
As cliche as it is, haunted houses can be a lot of fun and bring everyone closer together...literally! The brave friend can lead the pack through the maze while everyone else huddles behind awaiting a good scare! Besides, it's always fun to talk about who was the most scared afterward and listen to claims of denial, "I wasn't that scared!"
3. Have a scary movie marathon
Or any kind of movie marathon in general! Fall is a good season to cuddle up to your best friends with some warm apple cider and a soft blanket to watch all the fan faves.
4. Rake leaves for an elderly neighbor
The best way to enjoy the season to its fullest is to go outside! In the meantime, serving the community warms the hearts of those around you. Knock on a neighbor's door and offer to rake the leaves in their front yard just because. It'll give you and your friends time to talk and have a fun time while serving the community.
5. Go thrift shopping for a new fall outfit
Money is scarce these days, so why not shop where you can save a couple bucks? Gather up your besties and take a trip to the thrift store to pick out some new outfits for each other! Who knows, maybe someone else pictures something on you that you never thought of before.
6. Have a fall-themed picnic
Grab a blanket, pack a couple sandwiches, and have a picnic under all the color-changing leaves! It gets everyone out of the house to appreciate the beautiful transition between seasons and spend quality time together.
