Okay I am truly sorry if I am just adding to the abundance of posts on or about thanksgiving, but since it was Thursday I just thought it would be acceptable for me to take the time and tell you what I am thankful for and why. So without further ado, here we go.
I am thankful for my friends who support me unconditionally no matter what I'm going through, or no matter what they are going through. They always do anything they can do to help me. They do their best to make me feel better or to make me happier.
I am thankful for my family who try to help me through whatever kinds of stuff I am going through. The fact that they are always there for me and love me unconditionally makes me extremely blessed.
I am thankful for my dog (and all of the dogs in the whole wide world) because they really help me stay calm and in a way they help me cope with whatever I'm going through. Just being near them makes me feel secure and happy. I love them with my entire heart and I think they deserve the entire world because thats what I feel they have given me.
I am thankful for where I grew up because I feel like I have been exposed to so many different situations and have been able to meet so many wonderful people with such interesting backgrounds. I feel that has really broadened my horizons and opened my eyes and made me more of an accepting and understanding person I am today, and I will always be forever thankful for that.
I am thankful for the country I live in and the fact that it was founded on such strong ideals and was designed so everyone would have a fair chance to make themselves whatever their background or ethnicity is. We have been making tremendous progress when it comes to equal rights (but we still have a long way to go) and I think that people are becoming more accepting as they are exposed to different beliefs and people who live life differently. I think that that kind of effect is truly uplifting.
I am thankful for the education I am receiving and how so many people are able to get further into their education and use the knowledge they acquire to make something of themselves, or help others further themselves.
Thank you so much
Stay happy, be nice,
Joseph P. Nudo
