It's hard to believe that we only really have a month left in this semester. If you need to, start going to your professors now begging for mercy, but do not give up totally, cause your grade is not set in stone yet. If you are stressed and worried, just now that there is some comfort in the fact that it is almost done. Summer is literally right around the corner. Here are some things to remember for finals:

1. Take a look at your homework for the rest of the semester

Start getting ahead on it now, so you won't be stressed when trying to study for final exams.

2. If your final is a paper or project, get started now

Seriously, finals projects/papers take a lot of time, and they are a lot of the final grade. If you wait until the night before, it will not turn out well.

3. Look at your syllabus

It will typically say whether or not a final exam is cumulative or not. This is important to know because you need to know what to study.

4. Start studying now

Study a little bit every day. Overloading yourself with information right before the final will not work. No matter how many times you tell yourself it will, it never will. Ever.

5. Keep going to class

Seriously, some important information and most of what is going to be included on the final will be talked about during the last month of classes. It will only benefit you to keep going.

6. Don't give up

There's still time, and if you just pack up and accept a grade, it is just accepting defeat.

The warmer it gets, typically the more carefree everyone gets. I can assure you, you will make it to the summer. Just power through this last month of classes. Do whatever it takes to get you through, and continue to try in your classes.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
