It's that time of year again. The time for turkey bowls and actual turkeys. The time for apple pie, 5 million family photos, and finally the time for a game of 20 Questions with your family members who are in college. We all know what these are. If you're not looking for another sassy comment or an eye roll, it's probably best not to ask these cliche questions to your college kids in the family.
1. What's Your Major?
Especially if your college kid is a senior, please don't ask this. They've been there for 4 years I would hope you know their major by now. Move on to another small talk conversation.
2. What are your plans for when you graduate?
I mean honestly, do even we know?
3. Are you dating anyone?
I probably would have shared that information if I was. Thanks for making me feel bad about my sad love life.
4. What are your plans for next summer?
I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow, so I haven't figured that out yet.
5. Well, do you have plans for break?
6. How are your grades?
You know, I really don't think my grades need to be discussed at the dinner table.
Well fellow college students, brace yourself for another game of 20 questions!
