From all journalist everywhere please do not believe everything you see on Snapchat..pick up a newspaper.
4. Telling people sorry I have a deadline.
The art of turning away every human being to finish a deadline due yesterday.
5. Spending hours transcribing interviews.
It gets even better once you realize you didn't get a good interview.
6. Always making sure your recording app is on and slowly moving the microphone closer to the person's face.
No matter how annoying, sometimes long and exhausting it is to be a journalist. I would never have it any other way. P.S. stop reading this if you have a deadline due tonight...
