Ideas for Max Fun

With summer upon us, it's time to get outdoors and take advantage of the sunlight. What better way to do that than to host a party in your own backyard? While there's nothing wrong with a standard barbecue, if you're looking for something a little different, consider going with a theme. Read on for six summer backyard party ideas that will take your gathering to the next level. Make one party idea or make them all; there's still plenty of time to enjoy your backyard before summer ends.

1. Movie night party

Set up an outdoor projector, turn on a great movie, and pull out some chairs and pillows, pop some popcorn and you're ready for a late-night party. Depending on the weather, you could even turn it into an outdoor sleepover.

2. Relive the party of your childhood

Do you remember the party you had and loved when you were a kid or one you always wanted to have but didn't? There's no reason you can't have it now! Set up a bounce house, some big kiddie pools, a ball pit, and an ice cream station, and get ready to relive your childhood.

3. Magic under the stars

Do you have some magic tricks up your sleeve that you can share with your guests? It can be something super simple, like fun card tricks or letting the kids in the house put on a magic show. Encourage your guests to take center stage and show off some of their skills as well. Magical Party that is sure to add some fun to the party!

4. Camping without Camper

Your guests will love this themed party! Focus? Each food option is based on the food you would eat while camping. Snacks, popcorn, hot dogs…they're all there. And the best part? Your guests will be in charge of cooking their own meals outdoors.

5. Backyard carnival party

Bring the carnival to town and into your backyard! Host a cake eating contest, face painting, temporary tattoos, ring toss and a petting zoo. You can also fill a kiddie pool with rubber ducks, put an X in the bottom of some, and give prizes to those who pick the ducks with the marks.

6. Girls' Night out (Side)

Forget a night on the town in favor of a laid-back girls' night out. (Don't fight each other over loud music!) Pack up some blankets and comfy snacks, and check for some romance books list. That is sure to add some fun to the party!

Make the perfect party for yourself and your closest friends with these suggestions. All of them are quite straightforward, so you should have no trouble putting things together to guarantee that everyone who comes by has a good time.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
