We all know the feeling of longingly gazing at the man of your dreams only to realize that you are currently drooling over a fictional character on a T.V. screen. As ridiculous as you may feel at the time, trust me, you are not alone. It is so easy to fall in love with these handsome, heroic, chivalrous and emotionally deep characters that script writers craft to make viewers swoon because, let's face it, they're gorgeous inside and out. Here are the 6 stages of obsession with a T.V. character.

Stage 1: Physical attraction

Watching those perfectly oiled abs or piercing blue eyes makes it near impossible to not be attracted to the lead man in most T.V. shows, and they pretty much have you hooked from the first time they step on to the screen.

Stage 2: Emotional Connection

You truly start to feel the depth of your love when you witness the sexy hunk of muscle show his emotional side, and maybe (if you're lucky) even get choked up. You may even feel a few tears well in your eyes as you watch him show his **deep** side.

Stage 3: Falling in love with his love

If you fall in love with the hunky main character, it won't be long before he finds an equally hunky girl to be all beautiful and in love with. Even though ideally he would be yours and only yours, you love him so much that seeing him with his perfect new girlfriend is enough to make your heart swell with joy.

Stage 4: Betrayal

Although his gorgeous face may be second to none, the writers will have to show that he is "human" so he eventually will make a mistake. He will cheat on his perfect girlfriend, he will yell at his mom, and he will probably storm out of the house into some perfect rainstorm (preferably shirtless). You will truly feel the heartbreak as you watch your dream man make the biggest mistake of his life. You will feel the pain as if it was your own perfectly scripted drama.

Stage 5: Forgiveness

Luckily, it doesn't take long for your man to give a tear-worthy declaration of his love, or a heartwarming speech about how he plans to change, so you can go back to eating ice cream and drooling over his perfect everything.

Stage 6: Withdrawal

When the dreaded day comes that you watch the last episode, it is like you were blindsided by an unexpected break-up. I mean, it was so out of the blue and without any warning. Unfortunately your days of living vicariously through the love of two T.V. characters are over. I guess it is time to move on to the next T.V. hunk to fall in love with.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
