6 Smashers That Make You Hate Smash Bros

6 Smashers That Make You Hate Smash Bros

I love playing "Super Smash Bros." It’s probably one of my favorite games. But while there are some awesome characters in the game (like Kirby!), there are others that are just… they suck. Fighting against these characters makes the game less fun. These are the characters that make me hate "Smash":

Diddy Kong

A very spammy character. Even if he’s not spamming you off the stage, he’s getting in the way during four-for-all’s when you’re trying to attack other people. He’s annoying to share the stages with. Thankfully not too many people use him, but too bad that glitch with him didn’t last long.

Duck Hunt

Aside from the fact that Duck Hunt is lame and has no place in "Smash" whatsoever, Duck Hunt is absolutely obnoxious in battle, even without the control of a human player. Oh well – at least his Dalmatian skin looks cute. I still want to wipe that s**t-eating grin off his face though.

Ness/Lucas

I put these two together since they pretty much have all the same abilities. This is mostly with the players who use them, but with that they have the same issues of their attacks being repeated. I don’t want to fight them if they’re going to PK-fire me over and over.

R.O.B.

With his average abilities, R.O.B. should not be as difficult to fight as he is. At least the other characters on this list can be beaten sometimes. I’m either getting hit with his spinning arms or being thrown off the stage while going in to attack. Countering is a pain.

Fox

(I honestly have no idea why I chose this picture... not the point)

I know he also has a buddy with similar abilities (Falco), but this is mainly about the character himself. Does everyone have to play as Fox?! I get it – Final Destination, Fox only. But the joke is only funny until you’re surrounded by opponents all playing as the bushy-tailed bastard.

Luigi

Also fondly referred to as Green Mario, Luigi just doesn’t live up to the coolness of his brother. There’s always that feeling of saltiness lingering when you’re beaten by arguably the wimpiest character in the game. This is mainly a case of hating the player more than hating the game.

Of course everyone on this list is well-liked by many "Smash" players, but these guys really grind my gears when I’m trying to play. These guys are part of why I don’t just place computer players on random.

Who are your most disliked "Smash Bros." characters? Answer in the comments!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
