If you have a best friend like I do, you have probably been referred to on more than one occasion as "those friends." This basically means that you two are a two for one special. You're attached at the hip and everyone knows it. And if you're questioning whether or not you and your best friend are "those friends," have no fear here are six signs you might just be "those friends,"
1. You're always with each other.
And when you're not with each other, you're talking about each other, texting each other, Snapchatting each other... Basically communicating all day.
2. You have an endless number of embarrassing pictures of them on your phone.
No matter if it is a funny snapchat or an embarrassing picture of that one day their hair just would not cooperate, you’ve got the photographic evidence of it. You're the one person that has the screenshot that could possibly end your friendship if you ever decided to post it anywhere.
3. Your other friends are tired of hearing about her/him.
You don't do it on purpose, but because you spend so much time together every sentence includes their name. And when you say "my best friend" everyone knows exactly who you are talking about.
4. At the end of a bad day they're the only person you want to talk to.
You know that they will always listen with open ears and take your side even when you're clearly at fault. They'd even volunteer to assist in murder if it means getting back at the person who wronged you.
5. Social media is a scrapbook for your friendship.
Every other Instagram post is a dedication to your friendship in photo form. When you both log onto Twitter people roll their eyes at your long string of replies filling up their timeline (because everyone knows you could just as easily text them instead of tweeting). The only time you get onto Facebook is to tag them in an article that reminded them of you. You know your followers are tired of seeing your best friend week after week but honestly you could not care less.
6. Your friendship is a special kind of love.
They are your person and you know they would do anything in the world for you. Some people have a hard time understanding your relationship but do not take it personally. Not everyone has had the opportunity to find their person so it is hard for them to comprehend your special bond.
But at the end of the day, you and your best friend are in it till the end. Through thick and thin and everything in between, you two are together and that is all that matters. Consider yourself lucky because not everyone gets to have the same kind of love you two share.
