With Serena Williams' being ranked No. 1 in the world for women's singles tennis six different times, countless titles, and winning Wimbledon this year for women's singles, it's no question that her tennis skill is amazing. Other than just being great at tennis, she's really just killing it at life in general.
1. She loves Taylor Swift.
And she danced with her on stage during her show in Hyde Park for the 1989 tour. Now I just wish she had her own character in "Bad Blood."
2. Her relationship with her sister is what everyone's sibling goals should be.
Her and her sister, Venus, have played against each other for No. 1 on the world women's singles, which sounds like the worst sibling rivalry ever. They play doubles matches together and have been ranked No. 1 in the world for women's doubles together. Who else can spend that much time with their sibling without going crazy? Serena also started following a vegan diet to support Venus, who struggles with Sjogren's Syndrome.
3. She has her own fashion line.
It's called Aneres, which is her name spelled backwards. It isn't surprising that she's interested in fashion, considering she has some of the best outfits in tennis. She can even pull off a denim skirt.
4. She really loves dogs.
Dogs make everything better. She has a Yorkie named Chip, and he's the cutest. She's called him her son and said that they watch movies together. Bless.
5. J.K. Rowling loves her.
During the women's singles final for Wimbledon, J.K Rowling's Twitter account was all about her support for Serena. If J.K loves her, why would anyone else not love her?
6. She's really involved with charities.
Yeah, it's cool that she likes dogs and Taylor Swift, because don't we all? But she really does help to make a difference. She helped fund the Serena Williams Secondary School in Kenya. She won the Young Heroes award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater L.A. and Inland and the Family Circle and Prudential Financial Player Who Makes a Difference award. She's also been involved in a charity event for the 2010 Haiti earthquake and charities for at-risk youth.
